Dr. Canfield was amazing with my dog. He was kind, gentle, and did an excellent job with the cryosurgery. He made the whole experience stress-free and clearly cares about his patients. My dog Ollie loved him, and the staff was all so kind. I’m very grateful for his care and highly recommend this Veterinary office.

Wonderful staff and doctors! Always very friendly and helpful.  They offer options instead of pushing expensive treatments as the only choice. As a senior with a senior dog, that helps so much and doesn't make me feel guilty when I can't afford a certain treatment. Love this office!

My dog Ellen is doing great with her treatment. I've had her for 2 years and her skin is doing so well she is getting fuzzy all over and in places she's never been fuzzy like her ears and feet. As a veterinary technician myself I especially appreciate their patience and kindness with Ellen who isn't the bravest little dog thanks to her history of living with a hoarder. Overall we would both recommend their services. All employees were super nice, friendly, and helpful as well.

My son has a Chiweenie who has vasculitis in both his ears. We were referred to Animal Dermatology South for treatment. It was abundantly clear why the reviews were so high. From the minute we walked in the door, we felt special. From receiving an extremely quick appointment to the level of care and treatment and, of course, the professionalism from everyone. The entire time we were there, we felt comfortable and not rushed. We live over 90 miles away and spent the entire ride home talking about what an awesome experience it was. So, on behalf of ourselves and Oscar M. Weiner, we would like to say thank you very much to Dr Bridget and staff. You girls absolutely rock!

First, I would like to say that I am happy to see so many positive reviews or experiences from this establishment, however that has not been my experience.  After the bacteria check for my pup's skin issues, it was determined she has "an allergy", and to use X, Y or Z shampoos for the next 6 weeks and let's have a follow up.    After bathing every 2-3 days with one expensive shampoo, then changing to another after 2 weeks of no improvement and just getting inflamed again, I tried calling to ask for advice.  First issue. They never answer their phone; you have to wait for them to call back on their time (this has been consistent for any needs, even follow up appointments).  I went to see another vet because the most I could get from them is to continue what I was doing with second shampoo.  The other vet reviewed their recommendations and since their plan was not working, decided to put my pup on anti-biotics.   I then went to the follow up appointment (mostly as a curtesy) but with the hopes of getting a consensus and most importantly, getting my pups issue solved.  When I met with a different Dr. and essentially had to go through the whole routine explanation of what itching "is" and what allergies "are" again. I showed frustration since I already have little to no confidence in their establishment.  We ended up at an impasse of personalities, and since I suggested I already have another vet and did not want the lessons, they were happy to let me leave without further conversation.  In the end, I personally do not feel my pup's best interests were involved throughout my experience with them.  Weeks of bathing with no improvement, her and my own suffering watching her, trying to get further assistance and then the final straw of the same exact routine when I went to a follow up, knowing it had to be better and it was NOT.   Good luck to others who may read this and decide to try them. Again, they seem to have some success from other reviews.  I would just recommend getting second opinions; I personally will never make another appointment with them.
